RFID: innovative systems for your business protection

Our Company sales the unique equipment Nedap, including — the innovative system of identification — RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). The base of it is the technology of transactions with the help of radio waves of information necessary to the objects recognitions with fixed marks on them.

Main advantages of the system RFID:

• EAS Systems doesn’t demand the line of mark sight, thus, the marks can be hidden from customers, locating inside the packing;
• with the help of RFID system the payment procedures can be carried out significantly faster and more effective. For example, if a client buys several articles, the information from all marks is read only once. Reusable marks with the possibility of record the electronic code of an article allow to the shop-assistants observing the articles electronically;
• the system RFID is multifunctional and universal: the mark is resistible to the environment’s effects because it always can be putted in the polymeric enclosure;
• while using both one-usable and reusable marks, Nedap can combine the technology of radiofrequency recognition with the systems of electronic surveillance of articles, based on the radiofrequency and AM-technologies.

RFID: work method

RFID-system consists of three elements: marks, scanners and antennas. Marks, or transponders, are meant for keeping and transferring the information. Scanners – are the devices that with the help of antennas achieve and record the data from the mark. The antennas are used for pointing the electromagnetic field and achieving the information from marks.

The mark is putted on the article and registered in the scanner’s memory. Antennas, creating the electromagnetic fields, identify the location of the object with mark, providing its safety. With the help of RFID on-line the articles moving can be controlled, the main processes of acceptance and shipment of goods can be optimized, and the productivity and transparence of different trade operations can be increased.

Technologies Nedap were successfully tested, for example, during the experimental project in the supermarket Kaufholf of the store chain Metro. In Russia the technologies RFID also confirmed their reliability and effectiveness.
